I was contemplating the definition of “beauty” at the time I created this concept. Every continent I have visited, the definition in itself drastically differed. The one consistency across all ponds? There appeared to be a desperate desire for belonging + admiration from others.

I’ve met some incredibly beautiful individuals, yet felt somewhat saddened for the ones who found the need to cake themselves with so much make up, fake lashes, hair extensions, plastic surgery etc. It made me wonder, what were they truly hiding from?

But moral of this story here kids, is that you should ALWAYS do you. If it makes you feel better as an individual, then go for it! Your beauty (or lack thereof) will shine through, regardless. But should you choose this path, just remember not to treat others like they’re lesser of a person to overcompensate for your own lack of self-confidence + self-esteem.
