I called this piece, “depends on experience (DOE)”.

It is a reflection of how I felt under the corporate umbrella for so long. Wearing a somewhat masculine outfit to project the fine balance of confidence + tribal knowledge, without being perceived to be a “bitch”, while feeling as if I had a constant target on my head from upper management bcz of my own management style.

The scarf’s design reflects how much I sought the creative acceptance from companies that claimed they had a, “cool + creative + fun culture”, yet never felt like I succeeded at it.
