I was in a retro + vaporwave’y + minimalist kick again. This was/is such a common + negative term endemic to the corporate world. It took me years to understand the concept, let alone how to “not create waves.” Definitely, not my strongest suit. I had a few instances where I was made to feel like I pissed people off without knowing what I did, until WAY after the fact. I learned a lot about myself + how complicated the human psyche can be under a lot of pressure.

Now that I’ve turned a new leaf by becoming an artist FT, how does this work within the art industry? One thing is for sure, I no longer fear saying, “no, thanks,” if it doesn’t align with my personal + professional goals.
